Lemon grass fills your mouth and it just stops there. Needs something, the lemon almost overpowers the whisky.

Glen – 75

Not a big fan of the nose on this dram but the finish was nice and dry. The nose was very young and grassy. A unique finish saves this dram.

Glen – 90

Few drams improve with age as much as Auchentoshan. This whisky is part of Murray & Mcdavid's Mission series and is a great example of Lowland craftsmanship. Big for a Lowland, this dram is full of sweet and fresh flavors. Has a chewy body and a nice smooth finish. I picked up an almost briny character in the nose (which made no sense) that added to the whiskies complexity. Very complex, mouth watering and delicious.

Nose: Over ripe fruit, vanilla and honey, some hidden spices, had a fresh almost briny character
Body: Big and chewy, syrupy
Finish: Long, smooth and satisfying

This sensual lowland whisky really is so complex, with so much depth and character not often found in a Lowland. The "bourbon" vanilla flavor jumps right out at you; woody, but not overdone. Like the sexy older woman that just loves to flirt. A nice, silky, slightly oily body that tingles the roof of your mouth. Filled with honey and citrus; with a long refreshing finish, My only regret was I finished the bottle.

Glen –90

Light and elegant with loads of vanilla and citrus highlight this beautiful Lowland malt. Perfectly aged and exceptionally well balanced. My fellow taster referred to it as a sexy dram and the description seemed to fit. Had a nice caramel aftertaste. A lovely dram.

Nose: Vanilla and honey, soft, bourbon and a hint of oak, touch of caramel and honey
Body: Light and silky smooth
Finish: Medium length, very rich at first and then smoothes out, vanilla, citrus and almond, had a caramel aftertaste

A very sweet Sixteen.
