Glen – 85
Closed in 1985, Millburn first opened in 1825 and can still be found in independent bottlings. This example is rich and had a nice sharp finish. The nose had a grassiness to it that made the whisky seem younger then it is. This dram shines in a great long sharp finish.
Nose: Fruit, a little grassy, some hidden spices
Body: Medium and rich
Finish: Long, some light smoke, nice and sharp
A good highland that represents Millburn well.
