Jeff – 82

A nice lowland whisky, a silky body. The chamomile jumps right out at you.
This whisky has been discontinued or has run out. So if you see it in a duty free shop or you can get, pick up two bottles. One to drink and one to hold on too.

Glen – 80

A good whisky that I found a little disjointed and tough to nail down, not very distinctive. Rosebank has closed so it's still a good idea to buy a bottle and lock it away.

Nose: Malty, spicy, fresh
Body: Light, hot
Finish: Rough, malty, short and dry

It pays to spend more and buy one of the more mature Rosebank expressions.

Jeff – 86

Glen – 87

This expression is full of subtle flavors without the over powering grassy
character that’s the trademark of many Lowlands. Aged 15 years and finished in refill sherry casks, this whisky still retains the best of the Lowland characteristics.

Nose: Subtle, dry grass, slightly smoky, chamomile
Body: Light, dry and a little oily (almost like a dry chardonnay)
Finish: Short to medium, very smooth, lavender but very subtle

An exceptional Lowland malt from a now silent distillery. Grab one before it’s
too late.

Jeff – 84

Has a nice fresh nose and an elegant air to it. The body is very smooth, and goes down to easy. A little to grassy but with some nice peat. I with the finish wasn't so short, but it still a nice whisky. Add water to this whisky and sit back and enjoy.

Glen – 88

A good one from the now closed Rosebank distillery. Perfectly balanced that comes to life after adding a just wee bit of water. An elegant whisky for the true Lowland connoisseur. Sip this one slowly and enjoy the delicate flavors of this superior Lowland malt.

Nose: Strong citrus flavors, oranges, hay, musty like an old barn (but in a
familiar homey way)
Body: Light, oily
Finish: Short but lingering, warming
